RDO Equipment purchases two Retriever® Self Loading Trailers
"We recently acquired two Bestway Retriever SLT units that we've used throughout our sales territory with tremendous success. The thing we've noticed is the time and expense it saves.

Rick Heiniger, a northeast Kansas raised young farmer and ag engineering graduate from K-State University, started Rick Heiniger Sales in 1981 in the Hiawatha, KS area by selling anhydrous knives and sprayer parts from his home. In 1983 Rick and his wife Debbie, began selling locally made sprayers from Rockey Mfg. (RMC sprayers). In 1985 RHS Sales began work on the first RHS branded product, the Eagle Pickup Sprayer for custom applicators. Construction began on a new building in Hiawatha, KS. In 1987 RHS became a Kansas corporation and purchased the assets of RMC and began manufacturing operations under RHS. In 1989 three major new products were introduced; AutoGlideTM Ultrasonic boom Height control, FiberWorksTM spray booms and RHS Foam Markers. In 1995 RHS purchased Bestway Sprayers from Ritchie Industries in Conrad, Iowa, giving RHS a high quality pull type field sprayer. In 1999 RHS began development work on the Outback STM GPS guidance system in cooperation with Satloc. In December of 2000 the OutbackTM S was introduced. Other OutbackTM guidance products followed resulting in a rapid growth period for the company. In 2005 the OutbackTM GPS product line was sold to CSI Wireless in Canada. RHS re- focused it's efforts on the Bestway sprayer line as the companies major product. In 2009 Bestway introduced V-RideTM an industry exclusive variable ride boom suspension system which was eventually patented. In 2010 Bestway diversified it's product offerings with the addition of the Retriever® Self Loading Trailer for combine heads and 3-point mounted equipment. Bestway followed in 2011 with the addition of the Retriever® Transport Hitch to the line for transporting large implements and planters with a semi-tractor. The addition of the Retriever® products and brand established Bestway as a leader in specialized agricultural logistics products.
